What We Do

The South Venice Garden Club is a collection of South Venice approximately 80 volunteers who care about their community.  As of to date the South Venice Garden Club has donated two benches to Shamrock Park and numerous children's gardening books to Jacaranda Library. Our members participate in numerous food drives for the local food banks surrounding the South Venice Community.

The only fundraiser to date is a plant, bake and rummage sale held at the SVCA Administration Office.  It is held annually on the 3rd Saturday in March. 

When We Meet

The South Venice Garden Club Board of Directors meet at the SVCA administration office every 1st Monday of the month at 11:00am. 

From September through May meeting for The Garden Club General Meeting for the Members is held the 2nd Monday of the month at 1:00pm at the SVCA administration office.  During summer months, please call the adminstration office for details. 

Come and join us, we are always looking for new talent and fresh ideas.  When you visit, expect to have fun.  We have a garden related guest speaker, a plant raffle, we cut the cards and enjoy a light snack together.

In addition to the monthly meetings, The Garden Club holds several annual events.  We celebrate December with a catered holiday party.  In April, the Garden Club celebrates Earth Day and in September we celebrate the "Garden Club Birthday" with ice cream and cake. 

Through the efforts of the Garden Club Members, a Bench was donated to Shamrock Park for its visitors.
